I have received numerous emails allegedly from Nigerian nationals or high ranking bank officials who are asking to cooperate with them in claiming funds allegedly left by some rich individuals in Nigerian banks or in some government projects. Verifications with the Nigerian government website proved all these as hoaxes that are perpetuated to get money from innocent victims. They are able to send fake documents (sorry I have deleted them) bearing the seal of these establishments. Why do they use Nigeria for their scams?
