Have you seen any good movies lately? Is it something newly released? Please share!

We went to see A Christmas Carol, the animated 2009 version, with Jim Carrey voicing several characters. It was good!! It is done in 3D, very beautiful.

I have seen 2012 recently and I am still wondering what the big hype was about this movie. Yes, the special effects were absolutely fantastic; however, the story line was nothing but ordinary and the cast left a lot to be desired as well.

I really want to see A Christmas Carol. I am going to try and catch it between Christmas and New Years.
I just saw The Taking of Pelham 123. It was really good if you like action movies.

Avatar is an awesome movie too! I saw it yesterday and I was quite amazed with the special effects. Although the story line eerily resembles to the one of Dances with Wolves...

I have watched The Christmas Carol. The movie reminds us that life is worth living when you show love towards your family and friends, when you share your blessings to other people. It also shows us that love is more important than wealth. Money cannot buy love and happiness. Kids must see this movie. Everyday should be Christmas!

I agree that kids should watch this movie but less so with every day being Christmas. You need to get on with life at some point.

Ya, kids should realize that love which is positive step towards humanity which I feel has disappeared from many people.
Everyday we should celebrate Christmas by sharing our blessings with family, friends & even strangers. (except they wont get holiday )

One of the best movie of the year is 2012. The movie is very touching. It teaches good lessons especially in taking care of our mother earth. Lets not wait for 2012 to happen. Do some actions to stop global warming.

This holiday season, we watched some older classic movies like Christmas in Connecticut and The Shop Around The Corner. I've really gotten into some of the movies from decades ago.

What I mean by everyday should be Christmas is sharing of our love and blessings to other people. We should be good always and not just on Christmas day. People sometimes use this season to reflect on what they have done the whole year. We should not do this only during December or the Christmas season. Reflection should be done everyday.
