Adeline has a Stepmother, she lost her mother a few weeks after she was born and her father had to remarry.
She moved to HongKong with her family where she attended the Sacred Heart School and Orphanage and she performed brilliantly in her academics.
She is used to referring to her paternal grandparents by the Chinese words ‘Ye Ye’ and ‘Nai Nai’.
She bagged a scholarship to study in London (in the same school) at a play-writing competition.
After studying Medicine London Hospital Medical School she moved to the United States (California) to further propagate her medical career.

Adeline became very popular for her work falling leaves and its follow-up, Chinese Cinderella which won her the Lamplighter’s Award and the Children’s Literature Council of Southern California.
